Government Information

Cook County Property Tax Portal 
A Cook County website that offers one-stop shopping for property tax information.  The portal combines property tax information from the Cook County Assessor’s Office, the Board of Review, the Clerk’s Office, the Recorder of Deeds and the Treasurer’s Office into one unified site.  This site allows residents to have online access to comprehensive information about their properties such as appeal or exemption opportunities or liens, saving time and making searching from property tax information more efficient.

Illinois Department of Revenue
Find the information you need to file, pay, and inquire about your income taxes; plus other money-related matters such as registering your business and property tax information.  Note: Property tax exemption forms are not available on this site.

Cook County Assessor
The Assessor’s website provides information and downloadable forms for programs run by the office such as Homeowner Exemption applications and Certificates of Error.  It has information and forms for senior citizens who need to apply for senior assessment freezes and the Senior Exemption.

Cook County Treasurer
Find information on your property tax bill.  To provide vital services to your community, the Treasurer's office is responsible for collecting $8 billion in revenue annually on behalf of 1,600 units of local government.
